Last weekend there were 25 motos at the Palm Springs BMX Redline Cup qualifier. That is a minimum of 75 riders. It was closer to 100 riders. Add the parents, and you are looking at upwards of 200 people. Once again, there are 200 people who would most likely not visit Yucaipa on a Saturday. There were even a couple of out of state riders who attended just for this race. In addition to the positive benefits for the riders, a BMX track is a fairly inexpensive way to advertise your city.

I hope this comes about in the near future. My son would love it and I think it would be great for the community.

Hope this comes together. I would like to have both of my sons try the sport without having to drive an hour plus to get to a track.
